Here is what you will need to make this nutritious and delicious detox soup:

Two to three cups of hot water

1 and a half cup of coconut milk

One teaspoon coconut oil

One finely chopped onion

One and a half teaspoon cinnamon

Two cups of lentils (preferably red lentils)

Two grated apples (removed core)

A teaspoon of salt

A teaspoon of cumin

One teaspoon turmeric powder

Instructions: Wash the lentils properly with cold water. Then, let them drain and set them aside. Next, melt the coconut oil in a pot and add the onions. Let them cook until they soften up or turn golden. After doing so, add the apples and turmeric and let them cook for about two minutes.

Make sure to stir often. Next, add the water and lentils. Reduce the heat and let it simmer for about 15 minutes, once the pot starts to boil. Cover the pot not to let the steam get out. Now, it is time for the spices.

Add the salt, cumin, and cinnamon. Mix everything well and wait for the lentils to soften up. Add one cup of water if you want the soup to be thinner. Let the soup cook for about 2 hours. Now the meal is ready.
